Hello Dear 59ners,
Boy and I just had a meeting over lunch after unloading our thoughts by knocking d0wn golf balls at the Camp Aguinaldo driving range. We talked about the upcoming March Get Together or what he prefers to call our long overdue GRADUATION BALL.Most probably we may advance the March 28 ball toan earlier date. I shall inform you when we have the definite date when we talk to our Solano based classmates on Monday evening.
Escil you may have entered a maze by trying to solve the puzzle of the "dungaw" petite lady at the convent. For all you know they may be referring to sister Gregory or Sister Matilde who tried to convince my parents to make me go to the seminary. We hope to get individual pictures of those who will join us on Monday so I can forward them to you. Likewise I would like to get all your pictures on the internet so we can show them to our classmates here. On our latest count we have identified a total of 30 who are sure to attend our Golden Jubilee Celebration. We hope we can double this number come December. If each of the 30 we identified can yake care of making sure that he or she takes care of one classmate we hope to achieve our goal.
The suggestion to have a hook up with you there will be studied. We have many constraints to consider such as internet facilities, web cam and technical expertise and the cost. One thing we can assure you is that you will know everything that will transpire including the dancers of tango, boogie, mash potato, shimmy-shimmy foxtrot, itik-itik, pandango sa ilaw, tinikling ang Escil's special dance from Kiangan, the Ifugao dance. Suggest you start polishing you favorite dance steps and your favorite Karaoke bar songs to add to George's parlor games.
From the dried salt beds of the Salinas Salt Spring and the land of ay ay salidum may Naimbag nga malem yo amin!
